OOTD - 2/01/13

Today, I went shopping in mansfield (a little town near where I live) I literally found nothing in the sales, such a waste of the day when I could of been revising! Anyway this is what I wore...

Ok, this picture doesn't do this outfit justice what so ever, but I thought I'd post a quick picture before I go round to my friends house!

Oasis: Fur lined parka - If you read my last post you'll know I bought this when I went shopping last weekend, it's perfect for this weather, because of it's detachable fur lining.

Topshop: 'Leigh' Jeans - I bought these jeans back in September when I started college. I always find it difficult to find jeans that fit me (being around 5'9) most of the time the length just isn't long enough. So I was so surprised when the TALL range in Topshop were too long (yes, too long!!!!) and the normal range actually fit me for once. These are softer than normal denim so they're super comfortable to.

Tkmaxx: Cream Blouse - I must admit, the blouse looks horrible in this photo, probably because it's half covered up but you know. It actually has the cutest peter pan collar and gorgeous sleeves, attached below is a picture of them!
So adorable, I know!

Primark: Brown boots - These boots go so well with nearly every outfit, and being from primark it doesn't matter if they get wrecked or not! I'm surprised in myself that I haven't scruffed them up yet (being the clumsiest person alive) and the fact they're only suede.

Zara: Brown bag - I got this bag for christmas, but I've wanted it for so long. My mum normally never listens to me when we go shopping together, but I must of gone on about it so much this year, she got the picture. I'm a bit of a bag-aholic myself, and this bag is the most perfect addition to my collection.

River Island: Cameo necklace - You can't actually see in this photo but I am actually wearing a necklace. It's the cutest cameo necklace, which I got from River Island along with a matching bracelet (which I have no idea why I bought because I am not a bracelet person what so ever) I've attached a picture below of what it looks like close up...

New Year's Eve outfit!

To begin with...

You will have to bare with me, as I've only just decided to make a blog in the last hour or so and I haven't really got the hang of it yet! (any tips would be appreciated), and I really should start getting ready soon as my friends will be arriving in the next couple of hours..

I thought I'd start off by telling you where I am going to bring the New Year in with a bang. My friend from college is having around 30/40 people round his house (brave, I know) and we're all just going to party there.

I'm going to be honest it's my first year actually not spending it with my family (and I'm nearly 17!!) so I'm so excited!

Ok, time to stop babbling on, here's my outfit for tonight...

I got this top for christmas as a gift off of my friend, but I picked it so I know where is it from and the pricing! It's one of those cropped, high necked tops from Topshop and it was only £10.00!

I bought these trousers in the sale on Thursday! I saw some similar in Topshop but everybody seems to have them so when I saw these in Primark reduced to £14.00 I just had to get them!! They're cropped and they are slightly high waisted so they go perfect with the top!

I bought these flatforms back in the summer when I went through a bit of a heels faze. Somebody put them on instagram and I instantly fell in love! They were off eBay and were about £15.00 including packaging which was a real bargain!! Already being around 5"9, these are the perfect height for me!

My mum bought me these for christmas, because I really wanted some sparkly nail varnishes. These are perfect for New Year's Eve as they add a bit of glitter to any outfit. They came from TKmaxx at £5.99 for a set of 3 (black, blue and pink) I've had them on for 4 days now, and they haven't chipped at all!

Before I began, I apologise for the quality of this picture, I have no idea why it is so dark. Anyway... every outfit needs a bit of bling, especially on New Year Eve's. The collar in the picture was from River Island and was in the summer sale at £2.99. The ring was also from River Island at £3.99  and the earrings were from New Look at £2.99.

Sorry this post has been so longwinded!
I'l try and post a picture of myself wearing the outfit/pictures from the night later on tonight or more likely tomorrow morning!
